We visited our local vet this morning for a check-up. All is fine. We have stopped the Fradexam that contains cortisone and replaced it with Tévémyxine ointment that is milder antibiotic. He'll have this applied three times per day until the stitches are out after Easter.
It is very tiring keeping Leo on a leash outside, with the head-collar on all the time and with him as frustrated as he is. Perhaps even worse than having a sick kid in the house. I wouldn't want to have to go though this again, but it is in his interest that we've done this so we are looking forward to the end. I am sure that it will turn out fine as long as we can keep him from damaging the stitches for the next week and a half.
