Perdrix grise

Léo was working on the long leash today and whilst walking through a field of new Colza, pointed to a scent. He went on and caught a Grey Partridge (Perdrix grise) that must have been woulded in a hunt yesterday or even over the weekend. The poor thing was alive and flapped around, but in no state to fly. It made Léo's day and he could have eten it on the spot. We put the poor bird out of it's misery and went on with our walk - not keen to eat partridge pie tonight.
